This is a photo series about patients I meet in Bucharest hospitals. In the ward, everyone is always waiting — for an injection, a phone call from their children, a diagnosis, or a miracle. These moments of stillness and expectancy hold a strange, quiet dignity. By removing the visible context of illness and relocating each subject into anonymous, decorated spaces, I seek to restore their presence, fragility, and humanity — not as patients, but as people suspended between vulnerability and grace.
