Logănești

Logănești is a village in the Republic of Moldova, and for me, it represents the first door to this wonderful land called the Republic of Moldova. I went to a good friend who was kind enough to host me for 4 nights and introduce me to a wonderful project he's working on with the inhabitants of Logănești village. It's an exceptional short film that I can't wait to see finished, so I can say that I was there during the creative process. Besides that, I had the opportunity to meet and photograph several great local people, who welcomed me with an unexpected familial warmth. My desire was to capture both a part of Nicolae's project and the local people, so I could learn about the culture and way of life. I can say after this first encounter with the Republic of Moldova that its inhabitants are wonderful people, very hardworking and very welcoming. I will certainly return many times, with great pleasure. A world full of details, faith, and a strong sense of family has just opened up to me.
